Get To Know Our Members

Involved in the founding of the national Austin-Healey Club of America, the Midwest Austin-Healey Club has been around since the beginning. We're one of the largest, most active organizations dedicated to the preservation, restoration, use, and enjoyment of Austin-Healey sports cars. We cater to all Austin-Healeys, from early 100s to Sprites to the last of the 3000s. Jensen Healeys and other related cars are of course welcome too!

Our members vary in demographics, but the majority of us are from within the tri-state region surrounding Chicago. We vary in background, technical background, and a lot of other things; but we all have one thing in common: A shared love of one of the best sports car brands ever conceived. It doesn't matter if you're a restorer, a concours fanatic, or just like driving a Healey to the hardware store on Tuesdays (some of us are all 3!). Whether you own a Healey now, are looking for one, or are just an enthusiast looking to meet like minded fans... there is a place for you with MAHC!

What We Do

The Midwest Austin-Healey Club hosts or is involved in numerous events. The year usually starts with our Winter Dinner, where dozens of Healey enthusiasts gather to socialize, see old friends and make new ones, and of course enjoy some good food!

You can attend various drives and tours, drop in on the club picnic, or join us for an autocross in your favorite classic sports car. There's a lot of nice days in Chicago, and there's always something going on to bring your Healey out to! Interested in coming out? Let us know!

Need help getting your timing set up right, or looking to fix that leaking rear axle seal? Drop in on our monthly tech sessions--usually the first Saturday of the month and currently at the Midwest Motoring Garage in Sugar Grove, IL. There's a lot of expertise to share, so if you're looking to learn more about how to keep your Healey in prime condition these sessions are a must-attend!

The year usually ends with our annual Holiday Party, again with dozens of club members in attendance. Sad that the driving season is over? Not to worry! Mingle and meet members, have food and drinks, and join in for our annual gift exchange!
